La Serrería was born out of love at first sight.
When Lorenzo and Silvia discovered the old sawmill of Belmonte, They found more than a building: they found calm, castle views and a place with soul. What started as an idea ended up becoming a A family project driven by the desire to share the same feeling of peace with others. and the disconnection they felt the first time they arrived here.
For decades, this space was the old Belmonte sawmill. In its renovation original elements such as the sawmill, stone arches, part of the historic wall and reclaimed wood have been preserved, integrating them into a complex that today It combines history, authenticity and comfort.
Because La Serrería was not created to erase the past, but to breathe new life into it.
The name pays tribute to the history of this place.
For years, The wood was worked here and an activity developed that formed part of the daily life of Belmonte. When the time came to transform this space, its owners were clear that they did not want to lose that connection with their roots.
That's why they decided to keep the original name and keep a part of Belmonte's memory alive within the project.
La Serrería is not run by a major hotel chain.
